The Spanish prep program is a "total physical response" program.  Students assimilate the language in class by listening to directions and songs in Spanish and respond with the appropriate physical movement.  They internalize the language and when they are ready, speaking will come easily!  This method promotes stress-free learning with long-term retention.  My goal is to make learning languages fun and instill a love of the Spanish language and culture.
 
The second trimester vocabulary lists will be coming home soon.  Be sure to look for them in your children's backpacks!  The third trimester we will be very busy doing projects for Cinco de Mayo and learning new vocabulary for each of the months.  In addition to this each, grade level will have vocabulary specific to their content areas.  They will be learning songs and will have fun  activities to go along with each of them.
