The goal of your Tassajara Hills Foundation is to add to and increase the quality of education at Tassajara Hills. This is accomplished by raising and utilizing funds that are essential so our children continue to perform near the top of the district, as they are today. The suggested tax deductible parent donation of $395 (which equates to just $1.08 per day) allows us to provide exceptional programs for our children.

AUCTION 2009
The annual auction is a fundraising event hosted by the Tassajara Hills Foundation.   It begins with an on-line auction that starts several weeks before the event.  It finishes up with a fun evening of dinner, dancing and live auction on Saturday, March 14th, 2009 at the Blackhawk Country Club.  Your Tassajara Hills Foundation is looking for committed volunteers to help with the annual fundraising auction. With enough volunteers it will only take up a little of your time.  It is a great way to meet new people and to help our school.  Questions?  Please contact Deb Plafker, Auction Liaisondjplafker@comcast.net

NAPA 2008
You are invited to experience an evening in Napa right here in Danville! Local wine expert, Parag of Crow Canyon Wine, has teamed up with Nickel & Nickel vineyards to present an evening of wine tasting, education and, of course, discounted purchasing. Representatives will be on hand to assist you in tasting the fabulous single vineyard wines of Nickel & Nickel that have garnered acclaim throughout the wine community.

CORPORATE MATCHING
A program sponsored by many companies that “match” your donations to non-profit organizations like the Tassajara Hills Foundation. Some companies even provide grants to schools. Corporate Matching doubles the value of your donation to the Tassajara Hills Foundation. For example, your donation of $395 becomes a $790 donation!

Which companies match? Cisco, Chevron, Clorox, Oracle, Sony, Travelers Insurance, Genentech, Federated/Macy’s, RBC, Dain Rauscher, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Cingular, Microsoft, Yahoo, Aetna, Washington Mutual and more. If in doubt contact your Human Resources department or access: www.hepdevelopment.com/utxa/gift_matching_se.cfm and type in your employer.

How do I get my donation matched? Ask your Human Resources Department if they have a Charitable Matching Gift program and/or grant program for elementary schools. If "yes", obtain a Matching Gift Form (many can be obtained on-line) and complete your portion. At registration, include the completed Matching Gift Form with your donation to the Tassajara Hills Foundation or mail it to the address on the bottom of this form. Be sure to complete the employer information on the donation form found in your registration packet.
